At least three people were killed and seven others were injured in a shooting at an In-N-Out in Idaho, officials confirmed as they released the name of the gunman — who they say died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
The suspected gunman was identified as 24-year-old Chad Williams, who died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound near the fast food chain in Twin Falls, a city of about 56,000 people located roughly 130 miles southeast of Boise, Twin Falls Police Chief Matthew Hicks confirmed Sunday.
Those injured include two patients who were treated and released from the hospital and three who remain hospitalized in stable condition and two who are in critical condition. Authorities said they would not be releasing the identities of the deceased on Sunday.
One of the people killed was an associate at In-N-Out, the chain’s president, Lynsi Snyder, confirmed earlier Sunday.
Authorities also confirmed during Sunday’s press conference that an off-duty state trooper and citizen actively engaged the suspect by returning gunfire toward him.
The FBI has established a tip line for the public to submit photos and videos related to the shooting.

Crime scene and nearby businesses closed to public
The crime scene where the shooting unfolded Saturday remained closed off to the public the following morning.
Businesses in the area, including the In-N-Out, as well as Mo’Bettahs Hawaiian Style Food, Swig and the Twin Falls Visitor Center, were all closed Sunday.
The Twin Falls Visitor Center said that it will remain closed Sunday and Monday.
Crisis counselors will be available Sunday for people who witnessed or were affected by Saturday’s shooting at the Twin Falls In-N-Out, Lori Stewart, public information officer for the Twin Falls County Sheriff’s Office, told KMVT.

Taxi driver identified as one of the people injured in In-N-Out shooting
A taxi driver has been identified as one of the people injured in Saturday’s shooting at an In-N-Out in Twin Falls, Idaho.
Terry Dudley, a driver with Northstar Taxi, was injured in Saturday’s shooting, the company said in a social media post.
Dudley was hospitalized after he was shot twice while charging his Tesla, according to a GoFundMe.
Terry was flown to Boise for surgery and was in stable condition, according to a follow-up post from the taxi company.
